According to a story in Sol, a Portuguese newspaper, the report of which we saw on Ananova, a 42 year-old man has left his entire fortune to 70 strangers.

The man, Luis Carlos de Noronha Cabral da Camara, had no children and wasn't married.

13 years before his death, and in front of two witnesses, the man made out his will, from names he apparently took from a phone book.

The estate includes a 12 room apartment in Lisbon, a house near Guimaraes, a car, and around 25,000 Euros (about the same in US$).

The man died of natural causes.
